1. Do I need to Exercise?
Yes. Lack of exercise is the most prevalent risk
factor for Coronary Heart Disease, with 37% of deaths each
year being attributed to inactivity, as compared to only 19%
to smoking. In the UK 70% of women and 60% of men are not
active enough. Up to 9% of deaths yearly from CHD could be
avoided if people who are currently sedentary, or have only
a light level of physical activity, increased their exercise
to a moderate level.
